History of the Titanic
The Ship of Dreams

Welcome to "History of the Titanic", destined to become the premiere website about the Titanic!

  • The unsinkable ship
  • God Himself could not sink this ship
  • Room for 32 lifeboats but only 20 aboard because it was thought that it was a waste of deck space
  • Iceberg straight ahead
  • CQD-MGY ... Sinking ... Need immediate assistance
  • Women and children first
  • We're dressed in our best and are prepared to go down like gentlemen (We would like a brandy though!) ;-)
  • 1800 or 1500 or 1528 or ?? went into the water and only 7 or 10 or 52 or 54 or ?? came out
  • And so much more...

I myself am curious, hungry, interested, intrigued ... I want to know everything about the Titanic!

What's true and what isn't about Titanic's history?

What don't we know yet about Titanic and her history?  What do we think we know that's actually wrong?

And that's just the tip of the iceberg (I know, **groan**, but I had to put it there)... ;o)

Researching and discovering the history of the Titanic and putting together this website is going to be a labor of love for me and I so hope that you enjoy your visit here. :)

If you would like to know something specific that I haven't included here, please do let me know and I will be more than happy to research it for you.

Click the links on the left and explore the Titanic with me! [There aren't too many links there right now but there will be] :o)

Please bear with me as I work at cleaning up my design. It kind of "blew up" and I need to fix it so for the time being it'll look kind of goofy and some of the pages won't match. Slowly but surely I'll get it together. :o)
